A foreign woman experienced a seizure on the roadside, prompting immediate assistance from nearby Thais who showed great compassion.
Yesterday, April 28, a TikTok user @guyslumclub posted a video capturing the incident, highlighting the kindness of Thai locals who rushed to help without hesitation. The post humorously encouraged support for the poster’s noodle shop, Ann’s Kuay Teow Khua Gai, Baanthat Thong.
The video details how the poster, after closing the noodle shop, encountered a foreign woman suffering a seizure. Unsure if the heat was a contributing factor, the poster administered first aid and called Thailand’s emergency hotline, 1669.
The video also showed a foreign couple waiting for food, with the woman beginning to convulse. Her companion quickly supported her while others, including the poster, rushed to assist with first aid supplies like inhalants, fans, and other items until emergency services arrived and transported her to the hospital.

The post attracted numerous comments, with many expressing that the foreign couple would likely remember the Thai people’s kindness for a long time. Despite not knowing the couple, the locals extended their help.
The poster thanked those who provided aid, including a mist fan from a chestnut shop, a large fan from Chinatown Smoothie, and a cold towel from Hia Thep’s shop, reported KhaoSod.
They also advised against inserting objects into the mouth during seizures, suggesting instead to lie the person on their side and call 1669. The patient has since reached the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
